2016 Lincoln MKC – Fuel Economy Review

In this episode, we test drive the all new 2016 Lincoln MKC. The MKC is Lincoln’s first entry into the luxury compact SUV segment.

Our test model was equipped with a 2.3-litre Ecoboost turbo engine, which provided a peppy driving experience and decent fuel economy. Keep in mind that unlike its competitors, it doesn’t require premium 91 octane fuel, and performs well with just the base 87-octane grade we tested. Our tests yielded 180km on a half tank of gas and gave a decent average fuel economy of 12.9L/100km.

After using up a half tank of gas, we were able to fill it back up for $23.73 at a fuel cost of $90.9/liter. At that rate, expect to spend around $48 for a full tank of gas.
