In this episode, we test drive the all new 2016 Honda Civic Coupe. New for this year is a choice of two engines – a 2-liter base engine and a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine capable of generating 174hp (@6000rpm) and 162lb-ft (@1700-5500rpm) respectively.
Our test model was equipped with the turbo engine, which provided a peppy driving experience and very good fuel economy. Our tests yielded 453km on tank of gas and gave us an impressive average fuel economy of 7.8L/100km.
After using up a tank of gas, we were able to fill it back up for $44.44 at a fuel cost of $1.05/liter.
